Come run with us on the beautiful Serenbe trails, November 16, 2024!

Serenbe is a wellness community 45 minutes south of Atlanta with 15 miles of beautiful trails, shops, restaurants, nature trails, animals, farms and much more. It is the perfect place to come stay for a weekend or visit for a day.

The race distances are 5k, 10k and a 1-mile fun run for kids (ages 5-12). Parents have the option to accompany their child during the Mado Mile if they would like, but will not receive a medal. There will be age group prizes for the 5k and 10k only and participation medals and t-shirts for all events.

Race Information

Parking

Parking will be avilable on Promfield road, in the gravel parking lot. There will be volunteers directing traffic and look for signs. From Hutchinson Ferry road turn onto Selbourne lane (by the farmhouse /Inn ) follow the dirt road and take a right on Promfield. You will see signs for parking. Promfield will be closed from the Terra school to Serenbe Lane

*If you live in Serenbe please consider walking.

**Promfield road will be closed to traffic.

8:45 AM – 1 mile fun run

(ages 4-12) start
9:15 AM – 10K Start
9:30 AM – 5K Start

**Race day registration will be

7:15 am to 8:15 am.

Awards

Everyone will receive a finishers medal & t-shirt

(guaranteed if signed up by 11/3, if you signed up after 11/3 you may not recieve a shirt)

1-miler: first 4 kids across the line receive $25 gift card to Hills & Hamlet Bookstore in Serenbe

5k/10k: Top 3 finishers M/F for the following age groups:

0-18, 19-29, 30-39,

40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Course Maps

The start and finish our all three races are in front of the Serenbe pool on Promfield Road. Our Course maps are also located on Strava. Feel free to download prior to the event. The course will be marked with arrows and flags (pink 1-mile, yellow 5k, blue 10k) but having the map on your Strava will help prevent any confusion. There will also be some volunteers on the course, but no matter how well the course is marked inevitably someone loses their way! Pay attention on the course and don't wear headphones so you can be aware of your surroundings!
